CIGRE

Specialists of our company are individual members of the International Council on Large Electric Systems CIGRE, a non-governmental and non-profit international organization that unites scientists and specialists in the field of electric power systems (established in France in 1921).

The main goal of CIGRE as a scientific and technical association in the energy sector is the organization of the exchange of scientific and technical knowledge, coordination of research in the field of operation of large electric power systems. The focus is on the development, creation and operation of high-voltage equipment; tasks of planning and operation of power systems; the development and implementation of new systems for the collection and processing of information and control systems.

Nowadays, CIGRE members are more than 1000 organizations and about 8000 scientists and specialists engaged in all areas of the electric power industry. Within the framework of CIGRE, there are 16 research committees and a large number of working groups formed of reputable experts whose work covers the whole spectrum of problems of functioning and development of power systems and energy markets.

In Russia, the Association is represented by the Russian National Committee of CIGRE (RNC CIGRE), numbering more than 60 organizations and about 500 specialists.

The specialists of JSC “NPO VEI Elektroizolyatsiya” are included in two subcommittees of RNC SIGRE: A1 Rotating electrical machines, A3 High-voltage equipment, D1 Materials and emerging test techniques.

Taking an active part in the work of CIGRE and the Russian National Committee of CIGRE, JSC “NPO VEI Elektroizolyatsiya” contributes to the development of the domestic electric machine-building industry and the development of Russia’s energy strategy, taking into account the world trends in the development of the electric power industry.

EURASIAN ECONOMIC COOPERATION ORGANIZATION

The company JSC “NPO VEI Elektroizolyatsiya” became a member of the Expert Council of the Green and Cyclic Economics Committee of the Eurasian Economic Cooperation Organization (EECO).

The EECO is a non-governmental, non-profit, non-political organization of the professional and business community whose goals are to promote the formation of the Single Eurasian Economic Area, the creation of effective international communications in the economy, and the promotion of the implementation of Eurasian economic integration.
