Purpose
Valve generators of the “Windec” series are designed for operation as part of wind power plants operating through an external rectifier for the charge of rechargeable batteries. All the generators are unregulated and are excited by permanent magnets based on the neodymium-iron-boron alloy. The magnets have a protective Ni-Zn coating, which guarantees a 10-year warranty for magnets.
The generators are driven directly from the wind wheel, the design of which is determined by the developer. For the convenience of fastening the wind wheel, generators with a power of up to 1 kW have a reversed design. All the generators of the series have a small moment of friction, which is especially important for low-power wind turbines and have low rotation speeds.
