On April 17th, 2018, the management of JSC “NPO VEI Elektroizolyatsiya” took part in the IX International Scientific and Technical Conference Elmash-2018 “Electric Power and Electrical Engineering. Problems and Prospects” held within the framework of the large-scale industry project ELEKTRO-2018. The organizer of the discussion was Interelectromash International Association with the support of Expocentre. Leaders and specialists of the leading enterprises of power engineering, electrical engineering and cable industry, research and design organizations working in the power grid complex of Russia and foreign countries, including representatives of the Academy of Electrotechnical Sciences of the Russian Federation, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation , R & D Kozheby (Czech Republic), LLC “Turbine Technologies AAEM”, JSC “VNIIKP”, CJSC NTC “Unconventional Electric Power Industry”, FGBOU the National Research University the Moscow Power Engineering Institute, PJSC “Power Machines” and others.
The main subjects of the event were electrical engineering for the power industry, taking into account the current trends in the creation of new products, electrical materials, as well as control, monitoring, diagnostics and modernization of electrical equipment within the framework of the “Industry 4.0” Concept.
The relevance, tasks and applications of synchronous and asynchronized generators for turbo-generator sets, including for PSPs and electromachine-ventilation systems was of great interest.
Particular attention was paid to the prospects for the development and improvement of the standardization of renewable energy sources, taking into account the recommendations of the International Council for Large Electric Systems SIGRE.
