On September 7, 2017, the management of JSC “NPO VEI Elektroizolyatsiya” represented by the executive director I.E. Kudryavtsev took part in a joint meeting of the Committee on Power Engineering of the Union of Machine – Builders of Russia and the Association “The Council of Energy Producers”. The event brought together representatives of federal executive and legislative bodies, leaders of leading enterprises in the field of power engineering and electrical engineering, members of the scientific industry community, public organizations and industry experts.
Opening the meeting, Alexei Vladimirovich Dub, Chairman of the Committee on Power Engineering of the Russian Union of Machine Builders, First Deputy General Director of JSC “Science and Innovations” (SC Rosatom) and Chairman of the Council for Reliability of the Association “The Council of Energy Producers”, Managing Director of PJSC MOEK Bashuk Denis Nikolaevich, initiated the discussion of the development of the road map “Power Engineering” within the framework of the Interdepartmental Coordinating Council for the Development of power machine building, electrotechnical and cable industry under the joint chairmanship of the Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak and the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov.
Particular attention was paid to the discussion of financial and economic instruments of the industry development, measures to increase its competitiveness and modernization on an innovative basis within the framework of the state socio-economic policy, including subsidizing of pilot production, as well as measures to stimulate demand for domestic producers’ products. In addition, the meeting participants discussed the possibilities of domestic environmental engineering to ensure the transfer of Russian power energy to the principles of BAT based on import substitution and localization of world-class environmental technologies.
At the end of the meeting, it was decided to provide the working group “Power Engineering” with proposals on the finalization of the road map.
