On April 25th, 2018, the management of JSC “NPO VEI Elektroizolyatsiya”, having the status of an expert, took part in the meeting of the Russian part of the International Expert Council of the Committee for the Development of the Green and Cyclic Economy of the Eurasian Economic Cooperation Organization.
The project session “On measures to prevent negative impact on the environment as part of the implementation of the UN Global Compact’s Sustainable Development Goals” was devoted to discussing the use of waste landfill degassing technologies and waste recycling technologies in order to reduce the burden on the environment. Expert analysis carried out by experts of the Eurasian Economic Cooperation Organization revealed contradictions between the increase in the share of complex hydrocarbons in the composition of modern solid municipal and industrial wastes and the technologies and organizational and legal approaches to the formation of a management system in this area of housing and communal services, which is the reason for the littering of the entire Eurasian continent.
Having discussed the shortcomings and problems of various waste management technologies, experts came to the conclusion that it was necessary to improve them in view of the creation of innovative super-resistant chemically complex materials.
The participants of the meeting decided to continue work on monitoring critical trends in the field of waste management of production and consumption.
