In the period from December 5 to December 8, 2017 management and specialists of JSC “NPO VEI Elektroizolyatsiya” took part in the 20th Anniversary International Specialized Exhibition “Electric Power Grids of Russia 2017”. The organizers of the event were the Council of Veterans of War and Labor of Power Engineering and CJSC “Electric Power Grids” with the support of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, PJSC “FGC UES”, FGBU “REA” and the Technical Inspection of the EEC.
The traditional, grandiose event in the field of electrical engineering and power energy gathered representatives of research and design organizations, electric grid operating and distribution companies, manufacturers of electrical equipment, measuring instruments and information technologies, supervisory and regulatory bodies, educational institutions, as well as other professionals and organizations working in the power grid complex of Russia, CIS countries and far abroad.
During the event, the heads and specialists of JSC “NPO VEI Elektroizolyatsiya” held a number of constructive negotiations with Russian companies on the creation and production of complete switchgears with solid insulation (SSIS) for a maximum working voltage of 35 kV as part of a joint project – research and development work currently being carried out at with the National Research University the Moscow Power Engineering Institute in order to implement the import substitution strategy in the electrical and power engineering industries regarding the development of the Russian component base.
At the closing ceremony of the exhibition the winners of the competition of exhibits and developments were awarded, which had been determined by a commission consisting of leading industry experts, which included a representative of JSC “NPO VEI Elektroizolyatsiya” – Deputy General Director, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor V.N.Varivodov.
Participation in such a large-scale industry project for JSC “NPO VEI Elektroizolyatsiya” is a unique opportunity not only to get acquainted with the main trends in the development of electric power grids, but also to contribute in the form of new developments and promising projects implemented by the company in the framework of the state policy in the field of power engineering.
