JSC “NPO VEI Elektroizolyatsiya” takes part in the innovative development of PJSC “Rosseti”

     

Following the results of the first meeting of the Presidium of the Scientific and Technical Council (STC) of the PJSC “Rosseti” that was renewed in August 2017 in Moscow, the Program of Work of the Presidium and sections of the STC was formed. On November 15, 2017 according to this Program, the Deputy Director General of JSC “NPO VEI Elektroizolyatsiya” , Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Varivodov V.N., who is the head of the permanent section “Substation Technologies and Equipment” of the Scientific and Technical Council of PJSC “Rosseti”, held a scheduled meeting of the section.

Representatives of PJSC “Rosseti”, PJSC “IDGC of Center”, PJSC “NTC FGC UES”, industry experts, representatives of research institutions took part in the work.

The meeting was devoted to the discussion of the integration of key competences in the field of high-voltage substation equipment in the market of intellectual power engineering.

In opening remarks, the head of the section – the Deputy General Director of JSC “NPO VEI Elektroizolyatsiya”, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Varivodov V.N. focused on the necessity to create new digital types of equipment and the relevance of solving system problems due to the innovative transition to a power grid of a new technological structure with qualitatively new characteristics of efficiency, reliability and controllability.

During the meeting, issues of implementation of R & D IDGC of Center “Development of technical solutions for combining traditional facilities of distribution grids with a charging infrastructure” were discussed – speakers are Deputy Chief Engineer for Technological Development and Innovation of PJSC IDGC of Center Rybnikov D.A. and the chief specialist of the Department of Technological Development and Innovation of PJSC “IDGC of Center” Bredikhin A.S. The head of the Center for High-Voltage Converters of PJSC “NTC FGC UES” Antonov A.V. discussed the development of a specialized test stand and testing of the filter compensating device for PS 220 kV Skovorodino. The head of the Department of Energy Efficient Technologies in Power Engineering of PJSC “Scientific and Technical Center of FGC UES” Davydov E.Yu. made a report on equipping the ShAOt transformer at the 500 kV Ochakovo substation with development of new cooling control algorithms using the winding temperature indicator.

As a result, of the work of the section, a number of proposals were made to develop strategic and conceptual solutions in the field of high-voltage equipment in the conditions of innovative development of the energy industry and digitalization of the power grid complex.
