In early December, the management of NPO VEI Elektroizolyatsiya,JSC represented by the Executive Director, Ph.D. Igor Kudryavtsev and Deputy General Director, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Prof. Vladimir Varivodov, being members of the editorial board of the “ELECTRIC POWER. Transmission and distribution”, took part in the enlarged meeting of the editorial council and the editorial board of the publication. The event was held in the format of the round table “Perspective technologies for sharing knowledge on advanced technologies of digitalization of grids” in the framework of the International Forum “Electrical Networks” (MFES), Moscow, VDNH. The meeting was devoted to discussing the formation of a professional information environment for specialists of the power grid complex in the context of the transition to a digital technology platform. For many years of work in this area, the President of the “ERA of Russia” Association (Association of Electric Power Industry Employers) Arkady Zamoskovny handed the director of the publishing house Ekaterina Guseva a commemorative medal of the Association, stressing the important role of the magazine ELECTRIC POWER. Transmission and distribution ” in the development and discussion of professional standards in the field of training highly qualified personnel for the power industry. The participants of the event noted such significant achievements of the magazine as the inclusion of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Ministry of Education and Science in the list of peer-reviewed scientific publications along with the expansion of cooperation with higher educational and scientific institutions.

During the event, the leaders of NPO VEI Elektroizolyatsiya,JSC along with the participants of the meeting, worked to develop proposals for promising areas of work of the publishing house in the coming year, adjusted for the technological revolution in the electric grid complex.
