On February 28, 2019, Deputy Director General of NPO VEI Elektroizolyatsiya JSC, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Vladimir Varivodov, as a member, took part in the meeting of the Presidium of the Scientific and Technical Council of Rosseti, PJSC.
Representatives of the executive and legislative authorities of the Russian Federation, executives and representatives of PJSC ROSSETI, specialists of power grid companies, industry experts, members of the Russian Academy of Sciences, employees of research and development institutions, the magazine “ELECTRIC POWER. Transmission and distribution”.
The meeting was devoted to discussion of the results of the implementation of research and development papers over the past year, as well as presenting plans and prospects for the strategic development of Rosseti PJSC, the key areas of the company’s scientific and technological development. Participating in the debate, Deputy General Director of NPO VEI Elektroizolyatsiya, JSC, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Vl. Varivodov focused on the issues of comparing the performance indicators of PJSC ROSSETI with foreign peer companies and their correctness.
As the results of the Presidium’s work, a number of suggestions were made to develop conceptual and strategic decisions in the context of the innovative development of the energy field and digitalization of the power grid complex.
